Today, Carla Gomes has achieved the title of master in Chemistry with the presentation of her thesis dissertation titled “Caraterização de diferentes uísques com base em técnicas fluorescentes resolvidas temporalmente e HPLC-DAD.”
She worked in the characterization of various whiskies using temporally resolved fluorescent techniques and HPLC-DAD (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography with Diode Array Detection).
Carla’s research focused on the comprehensive analysis of different whiskey samples, employing advanced steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence techniques and high-performance liquid chromatography to gain valuable insights.
